InterSearch Worldwide elected a new Board of Directors during the organization's annual General Assembly,
held in St. Petersburg, Russia, on May 12-15, 2011. The new Board representing InterSearch Worldwide for
the next three years consists of Frank Schelstraete (Chairman, Belgium), Annie Fernandez (Malaysia), Mary
Kier (USA), Giuliano Viani (Italy), and Rodrigo Donoso (Argentina).
“This is a wonderful team and I’m proud to be part of it. All regions (EMEA, Asia Pacific and the Americas)
are represented, and it is also important to note that InterSearch partners elected two women on the new
Board. We have ambitious goals and besides our usual focus on quality and business development, we aim
to introduce new technologies and make them available for all partners and clients involved in cross-border
business” said Frank Schelstraete, new Chairperson of the InterSearch organization.
In addition to electing the Board, during the Assembly participants welcomed the new InterSearch partner in
Spain, Verdeja & Asociados, congratulated those partners with the greatest contribution of cross-border
search assignments (Italy, Belgium, Germany) and honored Giuliano Viani (Italy) and Dieter Albeck
(Germany), the former with the InterSearch Lifetime Achievement Award for his dedication to the
organization over the years and the latter with the Excellence Award for the business he introduced in 2010.
InterSearch Worldwide's next General Assembly will be held in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, in May 2012.
